Eating well should be enjoyable!

At Radiant Nutrition, our goal is to get to KNOW YOU! At your first appointment, we will spend two hours DISCOVERING YOU - finding out what has worked and what hasn't worked before for you, what you like to eat, what you struggle to eat, what you can't stop eating, what your goals are and what's kept you stuck and not reaching them ... to the point you decided to reach out to us. (And we're so glad you did!) Your Dietitian will LISTEN and answer any of your questions.

Together, you and your dietitian will come up with a plan that works for you and she will detail out that plan for you to follow. A plan that is completely CUSTOMIZED to YOU! We don't have any one 'diet' or 'program' that we're going to force you into. You will only get the plan and support you need to walk boldly and confidently toward your goals. Your follow-ups will be determined by you and your dietitian, according to your needs (how often do you need a check-in to stay accountable to your goals?) and to set you up for success.

We are 100% customized and personalized for YOU!

Janna Weaver, RDN, LD is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. She graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics and a Minor in Health and Exercise Science. Janna is a specialist in weight loss management, adult nutrition and corporate wellness.

As a teenager, Janna made a decision to take control of her eating and physical activity habits. By the time she started high school she had lost over 75 pounds and decided she wanted to become a dietitian. In college, as she studied nutrition, she struggled with body image and disordered eating but overcame that by learning to care for her body and change her thinking.

Over the years she has learned many important lessons - lessons that she is passionate about passing on to the other Dietitians that she brings into her practice to care for you just like she would. In addition to Janna’s above mentioned qualifications, she also holds certifications from the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics in both Adult and Pediatric Weight Management.

With more than 15 years of nutrition counseling experience herself, Janna is now even more passionate about creating a culture at Radiant Nutrition with the Dietitians she's locked arms and lives with to bring healing, hope and health to those God chooses to bring to this practice.

Registered Dietitian Nutrionist

Sophia Smith, RDN, LD is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist here in Texas but grew up in the rainy but beautiful state of Washington. After graduating High School Sophia found a huge interest in nutrition and weight lifting.

She found her way to Texas to complete her Bachelors of Science in Nutrition at Texas Woman’s University. She completed her Dietetic Internship down in San Antonio before returning back to the DFW area to join Radiant Nutrition.

Sophia has a heart for all things nutrition and aims to create a “domino effect” by helping one client at a time to impact families, teams, and communities as a whole. Her mission as a Dietitian is to meet her clients where they are at and find creative and encouraging ways to help them reach their goals. Sophia specializes in sports nutrition with student athletes, young adults and active adults.

Sophia aspires to earn her Board Certification as a Specialist in Sports Dietetics in the coming years. She enjoys working with all clients, helping them find ways to live a healthy lifestyle in any circumstance. With her Northwest roots, Sophia loves to be outdoors and stay active. If you don't see her in the office she is most likely at the gym or taking a swim.

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

Ngocmy Nguyen, MS, RDN, LD is a Registered Dietitian who is a second generation college graduate. She was raised around traditional Vietnamese cuisine that was blended with the beautiful New Mexican culture of the Southwest.

Ngocmy’s love for food began at 10 years old when she first dreamed of becoming a pastry chef in Paris.  Her passion for food as a young child led her to selecting a career centered around food and nutrition. Ngocmy is a firm believer that nutritious food can be a delicious symphony of flavors that are tantalizing to the palate. She enjoys teaching others how to cook and strives to help her clients fall in love with food again as they achieve their nutrition goals.

She attended the University of New Mexico for her bachelor’s degree in nutrition and dietetics and received her masters degree in nutrition from New Mexico State University. Ngocmy has a unique background of working with the immigrant population in El Paso, Texas and loves to work with the pediatric population. God has given her a special place in her heart to help our younger population find a beneficial relationship with food.

Ngocmy continues to pursue her passion in Culinary Nutrition by developing new recipes and attending cooking classes around the DFW Metroplex to expand her skills. She plans on pursuing a Certificate of Training in Obesity for Pediatrics and Adults in the near future.

In her free time she enjoys staying active in community nutrition, rock climbing, hiking, or exploring new restaurants and cuisines.

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

Annie Cavalier, MS, RDN, LD is a Registered Dietitian with experience at one of the largest hospitals in Dallas.

She attended the University of Texas at Austin for her bachelor’s degree in nutrition and dietetics and received her masters degree in nutrition from Texas Woman's University.

Annie’s interest in nutrition was sparked when she was 12 years old and her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. With the help of a friend who is a chef, Annie’s family learned how to prepare healthy, delicious food that her mother was able to eat during treatment.

Noticing how much of an impact food and nutrition had on overall health and wellbeing, Annie set out to learn more about the science behind food and its relationship to health.

In addition to seeing clients for Radiant Nutrition (on a part time basis, telehealth only), and working with patients in the acute care setting, Annie also runs her own nutrition and lifestyle website, My Healthful
Life, and writes nutrition articles for various organizations including the National Breast Cancer Foundation, the University of Texas Department of Kinesiology’s Fitness Institute of Texas, Southern Dallas Magazine, and more.

When she is not working on these passion projects, you can find her practicing yoga, going for long walks outdoors, or lost in a good book.
